Thomas and I were very excited to get a copy of CBD: The Healing Miracles of Hemp Oil and Medical Marijuana, it was recommended to us by a dear friend and we hoped that it would be full of useful information on CBD oil that we could tell our readers about.
It’s very important that we learn all there is to know about a medicine before we start using it and that we keep up with developments in the field. So, Thomas and I love to read about CBD oil. So what did we think of James Madison’s book?
It’s a short(ish) book that focuses on all aspects of CBD. That makes it an ideal primer for those who want to find out about CBD oil before using it for their problems.
We found the writing to be clear and articulate and James seemed to have a relatively good grasp of his subject and there’s a natural flow to this book that is missing in some other CBD texts.
The Not So Highlights
The only real criticism of this work is that it could use a little more of the scientific data to back up its claims. There’s nothing inaccurate in there but it’s always nice to know that the author has at least read the relevant scientific papers to support their claims.
Having said that, it’s barely $2 on Amazon in Kindle Format (though it’s much more expensive to buy in paperback) and at that price, it’s exceedingly good value. If you want a starter primer to understand CBD oil better this is as good a place as any.
