If you’ve been reading about living with pain on Pain Authority, you’ll know that we’re big fans of CBD oil-based treatments for pain. So, when Jane Field’s book, Diabetes and CBD Oil, turned up in our office we were very excited to read it. But how does it stand up to a thorough read?
The Good News
Firstly, this is why everyone needs to buy a Kindle. This book is 99 cents if you want to buy it on Kindle, it’s $29.99 in paperback!
It contains a very informative breakdown of the way that CBD oil works and how it is made. In fact, we’d say that it’s by far the best bit of the book. If you’re looking to understand CBD, the 50 odd pages devoted to it in “Diabetes and CBD Oil” will certainly help you get a clear picture.
The Bad News
We think that Jane’s so excited, as we are, about the potential for CBD oil treatment that she plain forgot about the diabetes side of things. While the information she gives on CBD oil is rich and detailed, we felt that she glossed over the surface of diabetes and how CBD can play a big part in assisting with that condition.
We also thought that the language used throughout the book was a bit more complicated than it needed to be. If you want to help people, they need to be able to stay awake to the end, right?
This book costs less than a buck. We don’t think you can go wrong at that price. You might need a cup of coffee or two to make it to the finale but it’s very short, so you won’t overdose on caffeine.
However, if you are looking to use CBD oil for your diabetes we’d recommend that you try other texts and not just this one.
