One of the most painful parts of the human body is the feet. You have a lot of nerve endings in the soles of your feet. It’s one of the reasons that reflexologists believe that you can promote better health through regular massage of the feet.
Now, I don’t know if the reflexologists are right, there’s a small body of evidence that shows that similar techniques such as acupuncture and acupressure work, so it’s possible but it’s not proven, yet or possibly ever.
What I do know is this. When your feet hurt, a massage can relieve the immediate pain in your feet. I don’t think anyone disputes this.
The IQ Massage Slippers
The trouble is that there’s not always a willing person around to give us a foot massage and let’s be fair about this, a massage in a massage spa is often pretty expensive. It’s a rare treat rather than a daily solution to foot pain.
Enter The IQ Massage Slippers. These wonderful inventions are designed to simulate a foot massage by stimulating pressure points from the sole of the slipper.
Is it as good as someone giving a foot massage? No, but let’s be fair about this – they cost less than a single session with a masseur and they are very good at what they do for the price.
It took me a few days to get used to wearing the IQ Massage Slippers but when I did, wow – they certainly helped ease my sore feet.
